1. Your niche could be that you offer free delivery.
This may cost a little money, but, you will gain the
extra customers to make up for it.

2. Your niche could be that you offer a lower price.
If you can't afford to offer a lower price you could
always hold the occasional discount sale.

3. Your niche could be that your product achieves
results faster. This niche is very effective because
people are becoming more and more impatient and
want results fast.

4. Your niche could be you've been in business for
a longer period of time. People think if you've been
in business longer you have more credibility.

5. Your niche could be that your product tastes,
smells sounds, looks, or feels better. When you
target the the senses you're triggering basic human
attractions.

6. Your niche could be your product is light or
compact. People may want to take the product
on a trip or don't have much room where they live.

reward. When you win a reward tell your customers
or visitors about it. This increases their trust in your
business.

8. Your niche could be that your product lasts
longer. People don't like taking the time and spending
more money buying replacement products all the
time.

9. Your niche could be that your product is easy to
use. People don't want to buy a product that they
have to read a 200 page hard-to-understand
instruction manual.

10. You niche could be that your product has better
safety features. People want to feel safe when they
use your products.

11. Your niche could be that your product was made
by hand. Most people believe that products made
by hand have better quality.

12. Your niche could be that you stand behind all
your products. People want to know that you back-
up any claims you make about your product with
either guarantees, warrantees and free replacements.

How To Start A Home Based Business - The Basics For Beginning A Business

By Corey Landis

Congratulations you've decided to begin a home based business so you can earn money from home. What will you need to get started? Here a few basics you should consider.

Business Name - You could use your own name and many small businesses do. Or you could use a name that is more descriptive of what kinds of services or products you provide. File the name with the appropriate agency so it's protected from others using it. You can have more than one business name if you offer very different services or products. File the additional names as DBAs, Doing Business As, under the first original name. When you've decided on the name, register the domain that goes with it. Don't limit yourself to one domain if you have more than one DBA.

Website - These days every business needs a website, even if their market is strictly local. It's convenient for your customers to look at your website for location, phone, number, hours of operation, and your products. Your website doesn't have to be fancy, just straightforward and easy to navigate.

Business Cards - In this world of electronic communications you still need a way to give your business information on a face-to-face basis. A business card fills the bill. If you have a quality color ink printer you can design and print business cards yourself. There's no reason to spend hundreds of dollars.

Licenses - Check with your local city and state to see if a business license will be required. Most communities have regulations concerning running a business in your home, even a home based business, a residential area. If you're not increasing traffic, parking, creating noxious fumes or noise there shouldn't be a problem.

Identification - You may also want to establish a taxpayer ID with the Internal Revenue Service (United States). This taxpayer ID can be used instead of your personal social security number to establish a bank account, receive payments and of course file your business's income taxes.

Legal Entity Formation - Establishing a legal entity for your business separate from you personally also separates the business from your personal assets. There are a number of alternatives from a corporation, whether an S Corp or C Corp to a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC). Don't use the abbreviations of Inc. (incorporated) or Co. (corporation) unless the paperwork for becoming a corporation has actually started. If the business is owned by more than one person a partnership is a possibility as well.

Take care of the basics and your home based business will start earning you money from home.

My Internet Business The Right Way

By Nicholas Wilson

First Research Your Internet Business

You should always do your due diligence before joining any type of internet business. Keep in mind that you will find something negative about most business online. With that being said look for how much good is being said about it and weigh them out along with asking yourself some simple questions.

Who is behind the company? What does the business offer me? How popular is it? Is there a tour before I buy? How much training and support is available?

Speak With The Person Your Considering Joining With

In order to succeed your going to need a mentor or sponsor for your internet business to get you heading down the right path. If you cannot find a way to contact the person then call it quits right there and look for someone else that is involved with the business your looking at.

A good mentor will be readily available to you and have their email and phone number listed and will encourage you to contact them. Making contact is a common staple most searches leave out. I cannot tell you how important it is to speak with the person your considering joining with.

Give them ample time to respond to your call or email. 24-48 hours should be plenty unless they are on vacation. If they do not follow-up with you within that time frame then they are either to busy to really help you out or they just are not mentor material.

You need to see if you can actually talk to this person and if you both get along. It should become a friendship that you build on a couple times a week. If you do not feel comfortable speaking with this person then how do you think they are going to help you build your internet business.

Finding a trustworthy, quality person who is going to be there for you is a huge key to your success. They should also be there to encourage you. Please make sure you make the attempt to speak with the person your looking to join with.

Join When And Where You Can

I hear of people all the time pulling loans or borrowing money to start their internet business and put themselves in a bad position before even beginning. By no means should you go over your head to join. You should be in a position to spend the money to join before joining. Remember, it will take some time to get sales.

I hear of people telling their prospects to join in at the highest level from the start no matter what. While they may mean well due to the compensation plan of some business, you should always start were you can or wait and save up.

Using these few suggestions will save you time, money, and headaches.
